Christian Gelder

Christian R. Gelder is a Research Fellow at Macquarie University, Sydney. He completed his PhD in English at Cambridge in 2022, and his work has appeared or is forthcoming in Modernism/modernity, Literature and Medicine, The Cambridge Quarterly, Australian Humanities Review and elsewhere. He is the author of The Search for a Science of Verse, 1880 to the Present (Cambridge, 2026) and, with Robert Boncardo, Mallarmé: Rancière, Milner, Badiou (Rowman & Littlefield, 2018).
