Abstract

This bibliography must interest anyone dealing with the reception of Australian and New Zealand literature in Europe. Perhaps there were some besides me who had not realised that Australian literature had penetrated to Scandinavia until Anna Rutherford started to publish criticism (from the University of Aarhus, Denmark) and Patrick White became a candidate for the Nobel Prize, but Segerström records a translation of Charles Rowcroft's Tales of the Colonies (1843) into Swedish in 1850.
