Abstract

The substantial work of finding out what the great figures of Australian lterature actually wrote is gradually being done. Walter Stone's 'Studies in Australian Bibliography' are providing invaluable working tools for tracing the output of these prolific writers of the past. And once such checklists are in existence, then there is a basis around which further research and discovery can proceed.
